To celebrate our amazing community of farmers and foodies, Chef Whitney returns with an amazing series of dinners on the Farm. Where better to have a farm fresh meal than on a real working farm? Our local menus are prepared by Chef’s Whitney Toogood and our culinary team and features food grown on the Farm and by our Farmer friends.

Farm Dinner #1 Farm Dinner with Craft Beer and wine pairing. August 9th, 6pm

Summer Harvest Dinner- $95 with wine and beer pairings, $75 without

(Pairings to be determined)

Grilled Lemon and Za’atar spiced Anderson Lamb chops

Chickpea croquettes with pickled heirloom carrot, radish, cucumber and ginger tahini sauce

Toasted Israeli couscous with sun dried blueberries, toasted walnuts and preserved lemon

Grilled local summer squash with Milk House feta, fresh mint and buttery toasted pine nuts

Roasted heirloom beets with local corn and summer savoury pumpkin seed granola

Spiced pistachio date pudding chomeur served with a mango lassi shot

 

Farm Dinner #2 Swine and Dine Family-Style Pig and Corn Roast. August 26th 5:30pm

Main:

Hardwood charcoal BBQ’d local pigs- Served with homemade beer mustard, smokey halls apple sauce and sweet and tangy Carolina gold BBQ sauce

Sides:

Seasonal greens with toasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds, fresh berries and Kricklewood vinaigrette

Fresh local melon salad with pickled shallots, fresh mint, cracked black pepper and Milk House feta

Creamed local corn with charred green onions

Fresh baked overnight bread with whipped honey butter

Dessert:

Strawberry rhubarb cobbler with fresh maple whipped cream

 

Farm Dinner Night #3 Tacos and Torches Night August 30th, 6pm  Join us for a fun night of delicious Tacos and afterwards explore our Mazes with only a flashlight.

TACOS:

Pulled pork with diced pineapple, pickled red onions, fresh salsa verde & jalapeno

Homemade spanish chorizo with roasted red potatoes, queso fresco & cilantro

V – Grilled summer squash, fried chickpeas with salsa verde & queso fresco

SIDES:

Local corn & tomato salad with chives, oregano & feta with pickled red onion

Tangy slaw

Fresh Guacamole & Pico de Gallo with corn chips

DESSERT:

Saunders farm fudge & kettle corn

Join us for our 5th annual Farm to table dinner featuring all-local products.  Bar opens at 6pm.  Dinner starts at 7pm. Menu to be released soon…

$95/person.  Not alcoholic $75 meal only

 

August 26th Swine and Dine Family-Style Pig and Corn Roast.

It’s a Summer Classic! We’ve been doing a version of this dinner since we moved on to the Farm in 1976.

  • Adults – $40
    Children 3-12 years old – $20
  • Family-style dinners- includes dinner and Farm activities and bonfire.  Dinner start at 5:30pm.

 

August 30th Tacos and Torches Night.  Attention Foodies and Maze lovers.  Join us for a fun night of delicious Tacos and afterwards explore our Mazes with only a flashlight.

  • Adults – $40 plus hst
    Children 3-12 years old – $25 plus hst
  • Includes dinner and Farm activities and bonfire.  Dinners start at 6:00pm.
